About these recordings
Every recording is played by computer from the same arrangement that is printed in your book, so the notes, the key and the speed match the page.
- Four clicks first. Each recording starts with four clicks to set the speed (in 6/8 songs, one click for each group of three).
- Slow plays at 70% of the printed speed. Normal plays at the printed speed.
- Play-along leaves out the tune and keeps the accompaniment, so you can play or sing the melody yourself. Songs without an accompaniment part have no play-along.
- Ukulele and guitar are played with a nylon-string guitar sound, kalimba with a kalimba sound and recorder with a recorder sound over soft piano chords.
The sound set
The instruments come from GeneralUser GS version 2.0.3 by S. Christian Collins (schristiancollins.com/generaluser), which may be used "without restriction for your own music creation, private or commercial".
Privacy
This site has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. It remembers which instrument you chose on your own device only, so the next song page opens at the same instrument.
